Rosana De Jesus

Rosana De Jesus-Paradizo is a trained nutritionist/dietitian, currently working with the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County Indianapolis, Indiana – WIC Program. Throughout her career, she has devoted much of her practice working in public health. Rosana has extensive experience working directly with low-income families. She has focused her work on Latino communities to reduce the high rates of diabetes through education and lifestyle change.

In 2017 she traveled to Bogota Colombia, to train 20 Spanish-speaking coaches and serve as one of the presenters at the International Symposium for Diabetes Prevention, Detention and Early Management. Rosana represented both BWHI and the Indiana Minority Health Coalition at this symposium sponsored by Colombia Diabetes Association.

Rosana has been a lifestyle coach with one of our original affiliates, Indiana Minority Health Coalition, since 2014 delivering the program in Spanish.
