Qunisha Sanders, MA, CHES
Qunisha Sanders served as the Program Coordinator for Whatley Health Services for three years, laying the foundation for program delivery of the BWHI lifestyle change program, Change Your Lifestyle. Change Your Life. (CYL2). Qunisha received her MA in Health Studies from the University of Alabama (UA). The year after she graduated, this program actually became the MPH program at UA, so she was also able to become a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) as well.
When asked to become a Master Trainer, Qunisha dismissed the idea because of her fear of failing in this role. However, she views that four letter word (FEAR) as no longer a hindrance for her but a necessity that we all can use in this life to achieve any goal, including healthy lifestyle changes. She believes that FEAR can mean Forget Everything And Run OR Face Everything And Rise. As a Master Trainer, her goal is to help new Lifestyle Coaches support their participants in a way that has them Face Everything And Rise in achieving a healthier lifestyle for themselves. This unique perspective is what makes Qunisha the best version of herself in this role.
